Diagnostics and electrics
We carry multi-brand diagnostic equipment to read and clear codes on both tractor and trailer. We resolve the faults that force limp mode: AdBlue system and NOx sensor, air mass meter, camshaft sensor, injection and boost pressure. We also repair lighting, marker lamps, earths and trailer connectors.
Mobile diagnostics is not plugging in a scanner: it is interpreting what the ECU says in context. The same P-code can be a filthy sensor or a genuine mechanical fault behind it; telling them apart at the roadside prevents blind parts-swapping, which is how absurd invoices are born.
We work with heavy-vehicle-specific tooling (not passenger-car generics) able to enter engine, electronic brake, automated gearbox and body modules, backed by a stabilised battery supply so no session ever leaves an ECU half-written.
What never to do
- Do not clear the fault codes before we get there
- Do not top up AdBlue from unsealed containers
- Do not bridge fuses with wire
- Limited-power mode. The truck caps speed with no obvious cause: a fault is logged even if you feel nothing.
How it works
A complete read across all ECUs, not just the engine: many crossed faults explain themselves in the brake or gearbox module. We separate historic from active entries, cross-check live parameters (pressures, temperatures, commands) as symptoms occur, and deliver a plain verdict: what fails, what we can fix right now, what needs a workshop.
- 1Full-system read
Every ECU on the truck, not only the engine block.
- 2Historic vs active
What already healed versus what is failing now.
- 3Live parameters
Pressures and commands while the symptom happens.
- 4Plain verdict
Fix-now-at-the-shoulder items versus workshop-only ones.
Mode
Roadside diagnostics. Complete read + verdict + post-repair clearing.
Ask for a fault scan at every preventive service even with no lights showing: historic codes tell you what will break next, before it chooses the worst possible kilometre.
AP-7 · La Jonquera
This is the first Spanish section of the AP-7: drivers coming down from northern Europe cross the border and within a few kilometres can go from French soil to a breakdown on the Le Perthus climb.
Border crossing and Spain's busiest heavy-freight point. Km 0-5: border access, La Jonquera service areas N/S. Dense traffic 24h.
